Passports, Visas & Letters of Invitation

Entry into Canada is solely determined by Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) officials in accordance with Canadian law. Canadian law requires that all persons entering Canada carry both proof of citizenship and proof of identity.

Passports and Visas

Citizens of all countries should have valid passports for entry into Canada by land, sea or air. For a list of countries whose citizens require visas to visit Canada, please go to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas.asp

Letters of Invitation (for visa purposes only)

Should you decide to attend our DHI Conference 2012 and need a letter of invitation for visa purposes from our organizing committee, we require the full payment of your registration fees before we can issue the letter to you. If your visa application is rejected and you provided us with proof of documentation that confirms the rejection, we will immediately refund the full payment.

A letter of invitation for visa purposes will be sent to you shortly after we receive your request with the above information. We may additionally ask for further information. No letters will be sent to those who have not registered and paid their conference fees in full.

IMPORTANT: If you need to apply for a passport or visa, please do so as soon as possible as processing time can be very lengthy.
